Mykonos

Mykonos is famed for its bright white buildings with colourful doors and window frames. Hang out in the maze-like streets of Chora, where shops and cafes form the centre of this buzzing island town. Don't be surprised if you come across a pelican, the unofficial mascot, strutting its stuff around town either.

You'd also find plenty of sandy beaches to relax on. Some are quiet, others host lively parties when the sun goes down. The crystal clear water is perfect for a cooling dip on a hot day.
