Salzburg is a picture-perfect city where Baroque beauty, Alpine views, and culture meet modern European comfort. Famous as Mozart's birthplace and the setting of The Sound of Music, it draws tourists year-round - but beyond the classical charm lies a well-organised, peaceful city that can also work surprisingly well for digital nomads. It's small, safe, and scenic, with good infrastructure and just enough cafes and co-working spots to stay productive - though the pace here is definitely more "slow living" than hustle culture.
