Koh Lipe is a small Thai island with clear turquoise waters, shallow reefs, and white sandy beaches, providing a chilled spot for those looking to base themselves in paradise.

It's less developed when compared to Thailand's larger islands like Phuket or Koh Samui. The island's infrastructure is pretty basic and limited, and so internet can be hit and miss. While some accommodation and cafes offer free wifi, the speeds may not be the best for things like uploading large files and videos.

The island itself is pretty remote and doesn't have the coworking spaces, restaurants and entertainment options that some other islands in Thailand can boast.

In short, it's a great option for digital nomads seeking a quiet and instagram-worthy location. However, it's essential to be prepared for limited infrastructure and amenities. Ensuring you have reliable internet access and being ready to adapt to a more basic lifestyle will help you make the most of your time on this beautiful island.
