Located in the far south of Phuket, Rawai offers a chilled alternative to rowdier spots like Patong. It's a solid choice if you wanna lock in and grind out some work.

The main road through the town is Sai Yuan Road which has loads of restaurants, cafes, and shops. So there's tons of options for places to eat. There's also a strong expat community here, which makes networking and meeting people really easy.

Rent is generally relatively cheap. Studios with a shared pool can start at around 8,000 baht per month, and one-bedroom units will usually run you between 10,000 and 18,000 baht.

It's a a bit far from Phuket's main shopping centres, nightclubs, and hospitals so you might need to bear that in mind if you require these services.

Internet here is generally reliable. Most cafes and accommodations offer decent wifi, and mobile data coverage is good enough for remote work.

If you're considering Rawai as your base, it's probably a good idea to visit first and see if it's chilled vibe meets your work and lifestyle needs.
